Olpejeta Day Safari
A Big Five conservancy in the foothills of Mt Kenya, Ol Pejeta Conservancy is known for its conservation initiatives. It was where the last male northern white rhino, Sudan, died in 2018; the last females of the sub-species still live at Ol Pejeta, protected around the clock. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is in the Laikipia conservancy, too, providing a home for chimps rescued from the black market
Our wilderness adventure will begin with a pickup from your place of stay/airport at 5:00am. We’ll then Proceed to the north, OlPejeta Wildlife Conservancy
The Olpejeta conservancy is located on the equator and between the Aberdare ranges and Mount Kenya conservation area.
It covers approximately 360KM square kilometers, (90,000 acres)
The early morning drive towards Mount Kenya Laikipia area is via the highland agricultural zones of central Kenya.
Breakfast stop on the way.
Mid- morning game viewing drives, experiencing the enormous population of rhinos and other wildlife species at the Olpejeta wildlife sanctuary with also a visit to the Chimpanzee sanctuary.
Later return to Nairobi with drop off at your Nairobi area hotel, residence or Airport at around 6.30PM.
